The Sturgeon River takes center stage here. Swim, fish, boat, kayak/canoe and paddleboat as you explore the area. Relax on one of the pontoon boat tours that depart right from the campground. Kids and adults love the 80-foot dock with a slide into the water. This big-rig friendly KOA has 60-foot pads and 30-amp services, as well as 50-amp Pull-Thru RV Sites up to 110 feet long. All sites are full service and offer water, sewer hookups and power. With a marina in the middle of the camp, you can bring your boat or rent an aluminum fishing boat. Lake Nipissing, a world-class muskie fishing lake, boasts northern pike, walleye, bass and more. The lodge has an outdoor kitchen, meeting room, game room and a camp store. Max pull thru: 110 feet. Tyson Lake borders on Killarney Provincial Park, therefore much of the wildlife found in the park is also found here, including more than 100 species of birds. Situated only a twenty-minute drive from the quaint historic town of Killarney, Tyson Lake is set in an idyllic, scenic wilderness that boasts over 150 kilometers of pristine shoreline. There are about 90 private cottages on Tyson Lake, to help keep our lake pristine please pack out what you bring in. And parking available.
