Samjae Taekwondo is an Olympic-style Taekwondo school. Located in Conception Bay South and Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador, Samjae Taekwondo is family oriented and recreational. With a focus on discipline and fitness, Samjae Taekwondo is an excellent fit for the martial arts enthusiast, as well as the newcomer. Instruction centers on core techniques, as well as application in self-defence. Membership is open to students from age 4 and up, with family discounts available. As an Olympic style Taekwondo school, Samjae Taekwondo uses a competitive style and high impact foam flooring for its sparring training. Head instructor, Mr. Ian Crocker is a kukkiwon certified 4th Dan Black Belt with National Refereeing and competition experience.

Zanshin Dojo is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. We provide training in Judo and Shotokan Karate to adults, teens, and kids living in and around St. John's. Zanshin Dojo holds memberships with Judo Canada, The Newfoundland & Labrador Judo Association, and KarateNL. We have a provision for a free class, to try things out.
