I have always wanted to be in the health care field in one profession or another. I saw a commercial for Everest in Toronto when I was 14 that had a program for massage so at age 17 I moved there and began the program. They postponed some of the courses so I moved back home and enrolled into Eastern college in a 2200 hour program. It supplied a small class for more one on one time and a better schedule because I worked a lot. We did many outreaches to businesses and relays, for celebrations and small business kick offs. I am registered in New Brunswick as well as here in Alberta. The most rewarding part of what I do is seeing the smiles of people who are no longer in any pain or whose discomfort has decreased a significant amount. It makes all of my hard work and dedication worth every minute of the time I am at work.
