Perched upon the highest point in Halifax County, visitors are provided with 70 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens dotted with mature trees and trees. Within the property, sits a lovely stone masonry chapel adorned with interior and glass front niches. Oakridge has a peaceful and natural atmosphere for loved ones to gather and reminisce in any season. Adjacent to Oakridge is Lindwood, a private cemetery owned by the Oland family. Brewers by profession, the Oland family built the Blue Nose II. Within Lindwood grounds sits a beautiful mausoleum with chapel ornamented with charming stained-glass windows.
