We are here to guide and support your partner to support you effectively. She Shines is not here to replace the physical or emotional support of an involved birth partner. Sweet Stella's Certified Birth and Postpartum Doulas provides unconditional, compassionate and nonjudgmental support for women and their families throughout pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum.

We are a well established practice of Registered Midwives. Midwifery care is founded on respect for normal pregnancy and as a healthy process and profound event in a woman's life. Midwives provide care from early pregnancy and until 6 weeks postpartum. Midwifery care is completely covered by the Ministry of Health even if you do not have OHIP. You do not need a referral to have a midwife.
