Bea Fisher is a group of companies dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities by providing services that promote community inclusion, personal development, and independent living opportunities.
Midwest Family Connections (MFC) was incorporated in 1982, under the name Lloydminster Early Intervention, as a not for profit, parent-driven organization established to provide home based early childhood intervention services to families of pre-school aged children who were experiencing or were at risk for developmental delays in the Lloydminster and surrounding areas. Since 1982, the agency has evolved to provide an array of universally accessible programs. In 2005, MFC became a designated Parent Link Centre, a designation provided by the Alberta Ministry of Children's Services. Under this designation, we provide parents, caregivers and their children with supports to ensure children develop and fulfill their potential. Parents and caregivers can access information and resources, obtain referrals and meet other parents, children and families while taking part in quality parent education, early learning and family support activities. No fees & all families welcome.
The World Mission Prayer League is a Lutheran community committed to know Christ, pray for the advance of His kingdom, share the gospel and ourselves with those who do not know Him, and encourage Christians everywhere in this global task. Prayer is our working method. We embrace a rich heritage that flows from the passionate witness of Christians faithful to the call of Jesus. Our ministry realizes the vision of Ernest Weinhardt to bring the Good News into the heart of Africa, Asia, and Latin America. The World Mission Prayer League consists of some 6,000 committed and praying members. WMPL has over 100 missionaries in 20+ countries. 'We must have it as our aim to bring the gospel to the very last man. Wherever there are people who have not heard the gospel, to them we must go, no matter how few in number they may be.' - Ernest Weinhardt, WMPL Founder
Wetaskiwin Mission Church is a fellowship of believers who desire to grow in their love for God and for one another. In the words of Pastor and Author, John Piper, it is our conviction that, ''God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him.'' This means that the chief aim of our lives is to glorify God by seeking to please Him in all things. This can become a reality when we obey the two Great Commandments: ''You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.and. you shall love your neighbor as yourself'' (Matthew 22:37-39). The way we seek to accomplish this is through consistent expository preaching of God's inspired Word, joyful worship, fervent prayer and sacrificial service.
