House of Families Chemin du Roi is a family community that aims to enrich the parenting experience body, improving the lives of families, parent support and promotion of the family in the community.
In November 1980, Sr Pearl Berg, osu, enlists a multidisciplinary committee to create a community movement to help people with serious illness and to members of their families. With training provided by the team of Albatros movement, hundreds of volunteers were prepared to make this humanitarian service. 's dream to build a shelter for the sick is done November 25, 1985 with the inauguration of Albatros House. Six beds are available for patients who wish to receive palliative care at the end of life.
