I wanted a kitchen back splash with some character in my open concept living space. I met Carol at Wow Factor Mosaics to discuss possible options. I never saw it before it was renovated; however, I have been several times since they re-opened, and I've loved it every time. The ambiance is perfect (cute cafe style), the food is great, and thank goodness for more vegan restaurants that have tasty food!! I'm very grateful for this place :)

Great service. Avneet was great to work with. His crews were respectful and did a fantastic job. Wait time was minimal. Flooring on two levels, countertops and plumbing were completed in less than two weeks., Everything was well coordinated.

When I decided in 2015 to leave the world of conventional work in favour of making mosaics full time, a friend texted "Great to see you stepping into where your head has lived for far longer."
WowFactor Mosaics is the coming together of a lifetime of making art, a love of the materials of mosaic, and my degrees in interior design and art history.
Glass, stone, tile and found objects - some new, some repurposed, some picked up in unlikely places - often inspire the outcome themselves (see Strata - glass and salvaged beach glass piece on Gallery Page).
The first project I completed was my bathroom wall and vanity countertop...the wall a spontaneous floral explosion, the counter a more peaceful curvilinear rock stream. Without exception, everyone who saw it said "Wow!", followed by some further comment or question. After hearing the same response several times over, I realized this new endeavour already had a name, and WowFactor Mosaics was born.
