The Gem of the West Museum is one of the largest rural museums in Southern Alberta. It showcases over 15 unique exhibits in 15,000sq.ft., and includes an art gallery and a working blacksmith shop on site.

The Brooks and District Museum was built in 1974 and is situated on seven acres of land on the east side of Brooks. It was created with the mission to collect, preserve and portray the cultural heritage of Brooks and District through natural history specimens, artifacts, documents, maps and information which is signficant to the history of this area.
The Fort Museum of the North West Mounted Police and First Nations Interpretive Centre is located at Fort Macleod, Alberta and is one of the main attractions in southern Alberta. The museum includes 8 buildings, over 9,000 artifacts, and an archival collection. The museum houses two of the oldest buildings in the area that are restored on their original sites: the Fred Kanouse trading cabin and Frederick Haultain’s law office.
Visit the museum to view the NWMP Musical Ride or to participate in our educational school program and the Groom-A-Horse program. Through our programs we aim to educate, entertain, and provide a unique historical experience!

Jasper Cultural & Historical Centre1910 2-storey, brick Museum and Cultural CentreThe Jasper Cultural & Historical Centre is located in the centre of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. It was built as the towns school, Jasper Street School, in 1910 and educated hundreds of local students until 1986. The building was constructed with locally-made bricks and the interiors still have the original molded-tin ceilings and hardwood floors.The Museum has developed themed display rooms where visitors can view an actual railway station house, or a one-room school house, or a collection of Heritage saddles and Charlie Russells pictures.
