Jasper Cultural & Historical Centre1910 2-storey, brick Museum and Cultural CentreThe Jasper Cultural & Historical Centre is located in the centre of Maple Creek, Saskatchewan. It was built as the towns school, Jasper Street School, in 1910 and educated hundreds of local students until 1986. The building was constructed with locally-made bricks and the interiors still have the original molded-tin ceilings and hardwood floors.The Museum has developed themed display rooms where visitors can view an actual railway station house, or a one-room school house, or a collection of Heritage saddles and Charlie Russells pictures. See First Nations artwork and learn their relationship with the land over the past 10,000 years. In 1991, a large vertebra was found near the town of Eastend, SK. This exciting discovery turned out to be Scotty, one of the largest, most complete T. rex skeletons in the world.
The Gem of the West Museum is one of the largest rural museums in Southern Alberta. It showcases over 15 unique exhibits in 15,000sq.ft., and includes an art gallery and a working blacksmith shop on site.

The Brooks and District Museum was built in 1974 and is situated on seven acres of land on the east side of Brooks. It was created with the mission to collect, preserve and portray the cultural heritage of Brooks and District through natural history specimens, artifacts, documents, maps and information which is signficant to the history of this area.
