At Keys Piano Lessons, I offer private and group piano lessons in Nobleton, Ontario. Music and teaching have been the main threads in my life since I was a teenager. In pursuit of being the best musician and teacher that I can be, over the years I have: completed a Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours - Brock University) received certification as an Orff pedagogy specialist (RCM) studied Early Childhood Education (Ryerson Polytechnical Institute) been accepted as a member of ORMTA (the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association) completed the first level Music for Young Children teaching training seminar Every year I attend numerous workshops to enhance my own knowledge about the many aspects of music and/or music education. These include Music for Young Children courses, ORMTA seminars, Orff workshops and any other bits of education that spark my interest. With studios in Woodbridge and Innisfil, the founder, Yurii Kvartyrmeister, has extensive experience in teaching and performing in such countries as Slovenia, Ukraine, Germany and Argentina. Many of his students completed their musical education in the conservatories of France, Italy and Germany.
Performing in concerts himself, Yurii Kvartyrmeister involves his best students in the concerts of Greater Toronto. Being a step to mastery, concerts develop the artistic skills of students. CDs with recordings of the concerts in Buenos-Aires, Toronto, Montreal and Kyiv can be acquired at the school.
Our teachers are professional, experienced and passionate about music and the arts. They are conservatory graduates, hold diplomas, university degrees and have active performing careers.
