In 1991 David received a Diploma in Guitar Building and Repair from Douglas College in a program run by master luthier Michael Dunn. He went on to work for Canada’s premier guitar builder Jean Larrivee and then ran his own full service repair shop in Victoria BC. In addition to repairing David also builds acoustic guitars and is currently constructing parlour guitars modeled after a Bruno that was originally constructed in New York City in 1886.

We specialize in the service and repair of brass and woodwind instruments; from play condition to overhauls. The following instruments can be serviced in shop: Trumpet, Trombone, Flute, Clarinet, Alto, Tenor, Soprano, Bari sax French horn, Euphonium, Baritone, Mellophone, Harmoniums Orff Instruments (If you played one you'd know...) wild, wacky, and wonderful instruments are welcome
