Char's Landing is located right in the heart of the Port Alberni's Uptown Art District. This beautiful century old former church building was purchased in 2010 by Charlene Patterson whose vision and hard work turned it into a public house hosting many community events and accommodating a multitude of travelers.

I provide expert instruction in all styles of guitar including classical, jazz, blues, and contemporary to students of all ages and levels, and am also available for ukulele lessons. I also provide live music services in a variety of styles and formats. I have no employees but I do have ensemble partners. I have only one location When students come to my studio, they will find a clean, professional music studio with a separate entrance, waiting room, and bathroom. Students will be encouraged to develop their talent and abilities by a very patient and experienced teacher , who's only goal is to keep them moving forward on their musical journey
