The Volunteer Centre of Granby is a key resource in its community for promoting and developing volunteerism. By drawing on the skills, innovation, and commitment of its permanent team and more than 200 volunteers, the Centre positions itself as a leading organization in supporting vulnerable seniors. Its services for the public include community outreach for seniors, friendly visits and phone calls, Meals on Wheels, small services, tech support, a local service point for Bonhomme à lunettes, an income tax clinic (in March) and Centraide’s Opération Septembre (back-to-school assistance).
