We have come every year in December from Hamilton to Simcoe to see the Christmas lights. We stop at the Barrel Restaurant first, and it is a highlight of our trip: excellent food, excellent atmosphere. There is a very large menu, so I know people can order what they want and sometimes get something different from what they want. Suffice to say that I find the Penne Capri on par with meals served in Italy, and my husband and in-laws refuse to order anything other than the lasagna because they enjoy it so much every time. I found Super Mario's last year and have visited a few times. IF you are looking for a nice dine-in experience, this is not the place. (Having said that, there is only one other pizzeria in town and they don't have any sit down service. Everything else, however, is great!
I met the owner, Mario, and he's a true blue (or should I say true green and red) Italian! You can taste Italy in every pizza pie made.
He has good staff, most of them high school students that really seem to know their jobs. Most of the time I order for myself and they have always been very efficient. I have picked up an order for a family meal and the family all liked it.
I don't eat pizza too often however when I have a craving for pizza, Super Mario's is it!

Been here a few times for breakfast. Have to say it's good and the portion sizes are average. Early bird special of 3.99 til 10am which is 3 eggs toast, bacon and a coffee.. Great place to meet for breaky and the place is generally packed
