Welcome to Prince George: An Introduction to Work and Life for New Immigrants.' These resources were recently developed to help integrate new immigrants successfully integrate into our community by building mutual understanding and in turn help Prince George continue to grow economically and socially. Both of these resources are an introduction to recruiting and retaining new immigrants in the workplace and to introduce new immigrants to Prince George. Welcome PG encourages both new immigrants and employers to spend more time looking at similar resources to help ensure that twoway integration is achieved.

Counseling Model & Approach: Provide brief-intervention solution-based counseling and mediation services, utilizing a multi-faceted, cultural-specifc, holistic, non-judgemental, and collaborative approach. Clinical counseling practice includes: cognitive-behavioral congruence, mindfulness, anger-management, respectful relationship workshops/homework, stress-management, and/or coaching to achieve maximum results/dreams/goals, overcome barriers, facing fears, and challenges; and build on strengths. Mediation services is a process that utilizes a collaborative, interest-based approach to resolving conflicts, primarily to avoid court and strengthen family, professional, and personal relationships. Counseling services via Skype, telephone, in-home, in-office, and/or text options are available.

Prince George Downtown Business Improvement Association ('Downtown Prince George') serves all the property owners and all the businesses/tenants in C1 Zone of Prince George. Each and every property owner and business in the downtown is entitled to a membership with our organization. The organization exists through a municipal bylaw. The current 5-Year bylaw expires in 2018. By way of the bylaw, the organization is funded through a special, property-tax levy paid by all downtown property owners. These costs are then passed on to businesses (renters) via rental rates and/or triple net leases.
