Our aim is to create long term relationships with our clients so they can have peace of mind while they are away from their fur babies. We have a large and secure yard for them to play and they are welcome to sleep on the furniture and make themselves at home. The dogs are walked several times a day and have full access to the yard all day. Many of our clients are regulars and spend time with us a few times a month. K-Town Cats and Dogs offers an alternative to a kennel. If you are more comfortable having your pets stay in a home environment, we are the place for you. Our walking services are catered to your needs. All dogs are always kept on leash and there are never more than three dogs walking together at a time. The Okanagan has so many great places to walk and we like to vary our treks to keep it interesting.
I’ve been an animal lover since 1971 when my first & very much loved dog & constant companion came into my childhood & was always at my side for 11 yrs, when my first child was born. Pets from that day forward have always been a part of my life while raising my sons so with them grown & with me facing a new direction in life, I gravitated to what brings me joy & comes naturally. Animals of all shapes & sizes have always been a part of my life & I wholly respect the human/animal connection anyone feels for their fur babies, feathered friends or any other of the many cherished companions some of us have in our lives. I will spend as much time as you need to feel comfortable before caring for your extended family in your absence, providing what you may require for your peace of mind. I’ll also document carefully from your instructions for the feeding & care needs in your absence, including medications or vet visits, according to the tailored service agreement discussed before you leave.
