Down to Earth does beautiful work! I have had several, very different pieces framed here and I have been always more than pleased with their service and the results. The staff definitely have a great eye for what matting and frame will make the drawing, photo, or print stand out. They are very knowledgeable and want you to be 110% satisfied - forever! They even thought to ask me where I thought I would be hanging my pieces and recommended a particular glass. One drawing is hung in an area that receives TONS of sunlight and it has not faded at all (there for 4 years!)

My name is Charlie Bourgeois. I was born and raised in Chéticamp, Nova Scotia and have been enjoying woodwork and carpentry for over 30 years. I have experience in framing hooked rugs, cross-stitch, needle point, tapestries, degrees and diplomas, paintings, landscape photographs and pictures of loved ones and many others! I offer a variety of handcrafted, solid hardwood frames. The birch wood I use is locally sourced from Valley Lumber in Margaree Valley, Cape Breton.
