Walter L. Zebiak started raising houses in Ontario before World War II. In 1947, he relocated to Vancouver and started L.W. Zebiak Houseraising in 1951. Since then the company has raised and moved thousands of homes in the Greater Vancouver area.In 1993, Walter decided to retire at the age of 82. Two employees, Bob and Jere Vickars purchased the company. They continue to provide the same conscientious service and quality workmanship to their clients. Zebiak Houseraising's qualified field personnel have over 100 years combined house raising and moving experience.Zebiak Houseraising is a member in good standing with the Greater Vancouver Home Builders Association and the B.C.
