About Multiple Sclerosis and the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world. This often-disabling chronic disease targets the central nervous system, which includes the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. MS is one of the most common neurologi- cal diseases among young adults in Canada. It usually occurs in people between the ages of 20 and 49, who will experience unpredictable effects throughout their lives. The MS Society offers programs and services to people with MS and their families, as well as stand up for their rights. Laurence spent the first part of his career working in the family funeral home, and for the past 15 years has focused on the family cemetery operations. He brings 35 years and more compassion helping our community through these difficult times. Brandee spent many years of apprenticeship with her father, Marvin Berson, after completing her education and obtaining a BA in Jewish Studies, a Jewish Teacher Training Certificate, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. Brandee is well equipped both professionally and by her nature to meet all the needs of each and every family with care, respect and a deep knowledge of the ancient traditions. Earl Klein is married to Brandee and has been working for the last 10 years in the family business. Earl has earned a reputation for compassion and respect when dealing with families.
