Leon Signs As a well established shop, operating for over 45 years, Leon Signs has maintained its position at the forefront of the industry. The variety of materials we incorporate into our work is as varied as the types of jobs we do. The selection of substrates is based on: longevity, exposure, complexity, strength, and budget. The greatest change in the sign industry over the last ten years has been the evolution of Digital Printing. Thermal printers such as the Gerber Edge® and have been in use for over 15 years, and are still invaluable as short run decal machines. Solvent inkjet printers have been around for a while too, and are now very reliable. The newest machines are UV printers which print directly onto sign materials. At Leon Signs all of these are in-house options, and we also out source to quality firms for over sized work. We receive a variety of requests for projects which may seem unusual but are not really out of the ordinary for a sign shop.
