Chelsea House Preschool has been teaching three and four year olds in the West Vancouver community for over 40 years. Our warm, nurturing environment enables children to learn through being actively involved in a variety of activities and learning centres. In September 2010, we moved to a new location. Our building is on the grounds of the North Shore Unitarian Church at 370 Mathers Avenue, West Vancouver. Our new space is very bright, clean, and was built specifically for preschool age children.
Natacha V. Beim is an Early Learning Expert and the Founder and CEO of Core Education & Fine Arts (CEFA), an early learning school for children ages one to five. The enriched curriculum features a unique partnership of core subjects, such as Reading and Math, with fine arts, including Yoga and Music, providing your child with the freedom to learn and grow through play.
We offer an open plan classroom with over 1,100 square feet of learning space. We also have a fenced and secured outdoor play area on site. Little Steps preschool is a fully licensed childcare facility. This means that our location, layout and curriculum meet the requirements provided by Community Care Facilities Licensing. This also means that the number of children attending the center cannot exceed set guidelines. Additionally, the center has also passed inspection by the City of Vancouver health department for a childcare facility.
