Thank you for your interest. I am a Registered Psychotherapist, Psychoanalyst, and Consultant providing Brief and Long-Term Psychotherapy, Psychoanalysis, and Relationship Therapy for adults and couples of all age ranges. I am happy to answer questions by phone, video call, or meet with you in person to explore how I can best help you. I treat a wide range of issues, but also specialize in working with individuals from multi-cultural backgrounds. I have lived in various cultures, am multi-lingual and highly attuned to the added complexity multi-cultural issues bring to treatment. Through my experience in corporate consulting, I bring an understanding of the work environment to psychotherapy in matters such as executive stress, burnout, job loss or transition, and work addiction. I also offer online/telephone counselling for expatriates overseas. My treatment approach and it's length is customized to my clients' specific needs.
I have been in private practice in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis in Toronto since the late 1990s. My approach is based on the principle that conflict and disstress are best dealt with when they are spoken and listened to without judgement or fear. Patience, respect, and curiosity are essential here.
