Dr. Ronald R. Martin is a Registered Doctoral Psychologist with a background in Clinical Psychology. His current research interests focus on health and wellness among teachers. He is also involved in health-related research pertaining to seniors (i.e., pain and falls among seniors with and without dementia). He has been awarded Tri-Council (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada; SSHRC) and provincial grants (Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation) to support his current program of research.

He has over 25 years of clinical experience in individual and marital counselling as well as extensive experience in group psychotherapy. He currently works for the counselling Services at the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation. DANIEL has received extensive training in brief Hypno-Therapy at Milton Erickson Foundation in Phoenix. His clinical approaches also include Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapy. DANIEL now specializes in Traumatic Stress counselling and Somatic based Psychotherapy. He has completed the 3 years Somatic Experiencing™ (S.E.) program as well as the post-advanced ''Touch training for psychotherapist''. He has worked at several Somatic Trauma Counselling training events (S.E. and I.T.R.) in Canada, the USA, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka and Australia. DANIEL is also a S.E.T.I. approved provider for S.E. personal sessions and case consultations at all 3 levels of the Somatic Experiencing training.
