Knollcrest Lodge opened its doors in 1972 and admitted its first Long-Term Care Residents. - Knollcrest has over 200 Volunteers who help to provide governance, committees, fundraising, activities, music, and recreation. - Knollcrest Lodge is also the home of Community Outreach, delivering a wide range of services to those in the area who need some help to remain independent. ...we are a vibrant and caring community.

Blue Water Rest Home was founded in 1965. We are a 65-bed, charitable Long-Term Care Home, operating under the regulations of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, and we are annually inspected to ensure we meet the province’s high standards for care. Our priority is quality of life: comfort, well being and happiness for every Resident - all programs have their best interests in mind. Our CEO and Leadership team direct daily operations. Professional staff deliver high quality care 24 hours every day. Registered Nursing staff are always on duty with experienced, friendly Personal Support Workers. Food Services serves three delicious meals and three snacks a day, with choices to suit preferences and tastes. We provide dietary counselling for specific needs. Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry take care of the Residents’ environment and possessions, and help Residents feel secure and comfortable.
