I tented here with family on the Labor Day Weekend. Lovely treed sites, backing onto a conservation area, shallow sandy beach a two minute walk away. Friendly and helpful owner. Deer, chipmunks, squirrels on site and pretty tame! Negative: was a bit crowded, not much privacy.Read more
I grew up in Scarborough, but after staying at Halls Marina, I am ready to move North. This quaint camprground allows you to escape the city while still being close to major ammenitiies located in Parry Sound. I have stayed at provincial parks like Killbear and have only been disapointed by their over population and difficult staff (This is not camping, I might as well have stayed in the city if I wanted to be surrounded by loud obnoxious crowds). Halls was hard to get into and very exclusive, but once I got my reservation, I was treated like a long time friend. This is camping. On random nights, my family and I would even be entertained by a free ski show (wakeboarding, slalom skiing, barefooting, we couldnt believe it). We will never head further North or stay further South again. We loved Halls Marina. This is camping at it's best.Read more

We were looking for a nice spot to enjoy a long weekend of camping and ended up returning numerous times over the summer of 2022. The campground was quite and the new owners are very friendly. Enjoyed the stunning sunsets over the lake and watching the herons catching their daily meals each evening in the shallow waters near the shore. Hiking trail to the point was great and we were able to fish right from the point. Washroom and shower facilities were very clean and well maintained. Read more
Welcome to Almaguin Campground Almaguin Campground is a well established family campground and cottage rental resort where families and couples have been returning for over 35 years to enjoy their summers their way.
Experience northern wilderness in the midst of 55 acres of mature forest set on the northeast shores of Wasi (Wistiwasing) Lake. Situated only 15 minutes from the northwest border of Algonquin Park in beautiful and historical Chisholm Township, enjoy the sites and sounds of ducks, loons, blue heron and deer that frequently visit our 2000 feet of shore line and dock area. An 1800-acre lake, Wasi is a peaceful lake with private and undeveloped crown land, rugged and sandy shorelines. Retreating to a peaceful and private setting allows you to enjoy, unwind and rejuvenate.
We have 14 wooded acres, including 1000 feet of water front. Five cottages that ensure privacy and independence - all facing the South River. There are fishing boats to rent to explore the river. Or you can always bring your own and park it at our dock for an extra fee.
We are a cottage and trailer park with established seasonal vacationers. Located along the South River in Nipissing, Ontario is a virtual paradise that you have to visit. Birchwood Cottages & Trailer Park is more like a resort than a park. You are treated to an escape from the hectic life you normally lead to a quiet and friendly space you can call your own for the time you are there. It doesn't exist you say - we are here to show you it does!
