The management of Edgewood Forest Products is pleased to announce that the Carrot River sawmill is in full production on a one shift per day basis with plans for a second shift sometime late 2012.January 3, 2012 we started with 32 full time employees producing 160,000 FBM per shift.January 30, 2012 , the planer started production, adding 14 more positions.February 1, 2012. The first load of lumber was shipped out.Edgewood Forest Products is continuing production with a plan of increasing their output later in 2012 with the addition of a second shift.
