Woodlands Junior opened in September 1964, and caters for boys and girls aged 7-11 years of age. At present, there are approximately 380 children on roll.We have twelve classrooms, a music room, a library, a hall with fixed apparatus, and a wildlife area.
We are a resource tourism operator, registered with Manitoba Conservation. Licensed to conduct Eco-tourism, fishing and outdoor safety and survival training. We offer experiential learning packages from 1 day to 16 consecutive days. They are offered bi-annually in the Spring and Fall. We also conduct private courses at reasonable rates.
Our instructors have national/international survival training expertise in various habitats and environmental conditions. These professionals have unique skills in the outdoors and a desire to pass on their knowledge to you.
