The patient care provided by Breakthrough is specific to my 8 year old daughter's needs, and not one size fits all. She has autism and ADHD, speech delays, and cognitive delays. My whole family has been first with Dr. Barrigar and then with Dr. Vanderfluit for many years. The service has been fantastic. Our daughter had developed auto-immune about 13 years ago and not only was this correctly diagnosed by Dr. Barrigar but she was also swiftly referred to the leading doctor at the Vancouver Hospital. Since Dr. Vanderfluit took over, we feel like we are in very competent hands and very well looked after. I can highly recommend this practice.

I’ve heard so many bad things about surrey memorial but honestly I’ve never had a better postsurgery care team. I just had a pharmacist come in and talk to me for an hour trying to make a medication plan and helping me understand all the meds and ensuring I won’t be in pain. I have like 6 different doctors that all tackle different aspects of my recovery that come in every day and see me and they are all great. The nurses and physiotherapists have all have been amazing, caring and kind.

Totally disappointed in some of the staff here. Went to have a prenatal ultrasound done with my husband and daughter. I went in first and while they were waiting my daughter was crying and upset wondering where I had gone. The ladies at the front desk glared at my husband and then asked him to leave. They are my rabbit's veterinary clinic, and they are very knowledgeable and compassionate about her care. They are open and honest about their billing and what they do, and their prices are reasonable. I found the vet to be very honest about my rabbit's health and about test results and treatments to be done. I would recommend this veterinary clinic to others, especially those with household pets other than dogs and cats, as it can be hard to find clinics knowledgeable about these pets.
