1-800-361-5867 www.parachuteschool.com Parachute School of Toronto Limited offers both Solo and Tandem jumps for first-time jumpers. Training for a Solo jump is four to five hours long, and weather permitting, you jump the same day. You ride up in the plane with an instructor, but get out by yourself, with your main parachute activated automatically. Training for the Tandem jump is only about half an hour, as you spend the whole ride harnessed to your instructor. The two of you ride up together and do a freefall skydive for 30 seconds or more. Your instructor activates the parachute, and the two of you ride it down together. We're located just 40 minutes north of Toronto in Baldwin, Ontario (just northeast of Newmarket).
