Passing through today with my wife and daughter, hungry so we stopped in. Service was prompt, and actually involved 3 people! I had the pickerel platter (had to prevent myself from saying "It's actually called walleye!"), wife had poutine, and daughter had the soup of the day, hamburger vegetable, and chicken burger. All agreed that it was good. Decor was interesting, and washrooms were very clean. Jake's is currently up for sale; it will be interesting to see what happens here, as the place seems to be a bit of an institution, having been run by the same ownership since 1969.

Dustin and his crew installed soffits, fascia, eaves and capped around the garage doors on our home in Nov 2022, all while dealing with some pretty cold weather. Today I ordered a couple pizzas for lunch. I was not disappointed. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised. I am told, this location is now under new ownership.
I placed the order for delivery using the iPhone app. On checkout, I had the option to use ApplePay, nice. The order was placed. It even offered a 40 min guarantee. The order arrived quickly, about 30min - the driver was friendly and confirmed our order was complete before leaving. Amazing!

After having dealt with a number of what I would call incompetent individuals it was very gratifying to deal with Fern’s Heating inc. They installed a new furnace in record time and had the old one running in order to make sure that I did not go without heat. Everything was left spotless before he left. In the middle of this Co-vid 19 virus our car was totalled when we hit a moose late in the evening. Despite all protocols of social distancing and serious health concerns, Griffiths were out PRONTO to assist. They recommended a tow closer to them ( vs. returning to Toronto) to save costs. They were extremely helpful in allowing us to get back to the car to pick up our stuff & answering all our questions regarding insurance. Polite, professional. Perfect.

This is the best pharmacy to deal with in my opinion. I literally live a block from another shoppers drug mart and-still I choose to go across town to deal with this store/pharmacy at 276 Lakeshore thanks to how amazing the staff/pharmacists are at this location. Sure sometimes you have to wait a bit for a prescription but it just depends on how busy they are just like anywhere. I would definitely recommend dealing with this store, I have no complaints at all.

I have been dealing with them for 7 years now, getting my furnace cleaned. They are always courteous and friendly, and very professional. I just had them install a tankless water heater for me, and the 2 men did a fantastic job, and again very courteous , friendly, and professional! Also their rates are better than anyone else here in town! I would recommend them to anyone !
