The best care, in the area! The nurses are so sweet and compassionate. The Lab has been cut back, so far, unfortunately, that you can practically see its spine, and while the wait times have gotten longer, the staff is as friendly and as skilled as they can be. It would be a travesty to lose this service since it serves such a large area.Read more

Cynthia Howroyd is a Speech Language Pathologist with many years of experience. She specializes in serving children with social/behavior and learning challenges such as Autism, ADHD and Learning Disability. She works setting up and supervising preschool and school-age programs for families of children with autism throughout the Maritimes. Her background includes a list of awards for product innovation in the field of autism. She has been an invited speaker on topics in autism, social skill development and behavior throughout North America and internationally. She has also worked on literacy learning projects for the NS
Department of Education and the Learning Disability Association of Nova Scotia. Currently she serves as President of the Speech and Hearing Association of
