We were recommended to swim zone by a friend. My daughter has been taking lessons there for about a year. In our experience, we have found the coaches to be extremely patient and energetic. The lessons are a bit more expensive than some other programs in the area however the extra attention is worth it! We have seen huge progress!!

I am an experienced female swim instructor and lifeguard certified through Red Cross. This will be my third summer teaching from my heated backyard pool. Located at Thornton Road and Rossland Road, I am offering private swimming lessons for all ages and levels up to level 10 swim kids. All lessons follow the Red Cross standards and report cards and badges will be provided at the end of session. It normally takes 2 sessions (of 5 lessons) for students to complete a level.
SwimKids opened its doors in 1991 in the town of Port Perry. Owner, Julie Goodwin is a Master competitive swimmer, national swim coach, ECE, NCCP III and recipient of a Provincial Coaching Award. Small class sizes, quality instruction and individualized lesson plans along with dedicated customer service have made SwimKids the success it is today.
