We are a small church with a mixture of young and older people and we are culturally diverse. Knob Hill was opened in the mid-1950's. Knob Hill United Church has run a community day care since the late 1970's. We have a lively choir, several active groups and plenty of opportunity for warm fellowship. A new children's Christian Education program is held on Sunday mornings from 10:30 - 11:30 am. There are crafts, stories, games and fun!! WHY DOES THE TRADITION OF A WEEKLY WORSHIP SERVICE EXIT IN CHRISTIANITY? It's a pattern copied from Jesus. As God is a communicator with the human race, Jesus joined established patterns of weekly God time in Synagogue. Jesus showed us the human identity is nurtured, and affirmed when it communicates with God, and with other people. Community life is part of worship. Protecting that, being thankful for that, and educating ourselves in what it means to be in communication with God, is what happens in worship. That's what church is there for.

Temple Har Zion was founded In February of 1971, Temple Har Zion was founded with a strong, positive vision of Judaism and congregational life. We want each family member to feel comfortable and see Har Zion as an extension of the home We want our Temple to be a community of people who care for and about one another as well as rejoice with and support each other through life's experiences and events. As a movement and a synagogue, we are committed to the rich possibilities of a full and involved Jewish life. We welcome those who share this vision of Jewish life. We believe that the stronger our community life is, the more ways there are to enjoy the fullness and satisfaction that Jewish living brings.

Welcome to the Saint George's Greek Orthodox Church, A veritable jewel in the crown of Greek Orthodoxy, the church of Saint George stands as a dynamic affirmation of the spiritual and artistic achievement of the Byzantine religious tradition. With the exception of its Romanesque façade and few Moorish capitals the renovated edifice is now more thoroughly Byzantine in its layout and aesthetic decor. The church interior is unique in being the only one outside of Greece to have been painted in its entirety by the Pachomaioi monks, Theophilos and Chrysostomos, master iconographers from Mount Athos, Greece
