After the last night club closed in 2003, the Theatre sat empty for two years.In 2005 a group of Swift Current residents saw the potential of the historic building, and decided it had sat empty long enough. The beauty, sturdy construction, and location of the theatre made it a perfect centerpiece for the city - a place for people to gather and share music, drama, art, and social interaction.Now, the Southwest Cultural Development Group has recreated the space to fit its vision of an accessible, useful place for entertainment and inspiration.
