I highly recommend Kipps Lane Fish n Chips! I was hard pressed to find a classic fish n chip joint such as I had adored as a teen in Toronto in the mid 1970s. A true, halibut fish, hand filleted with the classic, puffed up batter and golden fries is a rare treat to still find these days especially from a family owned and operated restaurant who are so friendly and who take pride in what they serve you. Its very clean and your order is up and ready within 15 mins with a smile. Its just so YUM!

I order the meat lovers and the veggie pizza. Hands down the best i have ever had!. The crust is unique and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. I recall eating at a Montana’s Grill a few months ago and enjoying an Aunt Emma’s meatloaf. This past Saturday my wife and I had a yearning to try it again, so we went to a relatively new Montana’s in Hyde Park and discovered that it was now listed on the menu as a “Cookhouse Meatloaf” and promoted as being one of the restaurant’s “favourites”. I can see why. Quite frankly, this was by far the best meatloaf I have ever tasted in my life, and at 73 that’s saying quite a lot. Sure you can eat meatloaf at a number of places but I bet you can’t beat having a more delicious one at Montana’s in Hyde Park.
