You'll note our Canadian decor starts right when you walk up to our huge Inuksuk at our doors, and continues throughout the restaurant in a cheeky Canadian fashion. You won't find a better selection of screens anywhere for the sports you love! We even provide tabletop speakers for those nights when multiple sports and teams are playing. We also believe being part of a community means giving back. We've been raising funds for various charities through events and fundraisers for over 10 years. Charities like The Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, Breast Cancer Research, Prostate Cancer and many local initiatives that are important to our neighbours in various communities. Located in the Rockyview Hotel (Cochrane Hotel). Built in 1904, the Hotel became the focal point for many activities. Beautifully restored, we are affectionately known to locals as “The Gate”, a place to come for the best burgers, steaks & prime rib. Close to Calgary, Banff/Canmore, with views of the Rocky Mountains, you can dine on the patio overlooking Main Street or stay inside & enjoy our historic family friendly restaurant on the bottom floor. The restaurant is complete with gold ceiling, a 1904 Round Oak Stove, & an antique early 20th century self-playing Stroud piano. Our dining room is home to Cochrane’s only Champagne Cowboy Brunch Buffet every Sunday. We offer a children’s menu, with kid approved favourites! The restaurant is available for private bookings (weddings, staff parties & team building). Our chef will prepare a delightful menu - at prices that the Wild West would habeen proud of!
