The store: It's far from being aesthetically outstanding. In fact it's disorganized and messy. But if you're willing to go slowly and check all the aisles, it's a treasure trove in there. I've found everything from quilting cottons and African waxed prints to bra lace, from woven interfacing to handbag hardware. And the prices are about 20% what you would pay at the spacious, pretty stores.
The staff: The owner, Marie, is the only staff and she works long hours every week. She's a sweetheart.
