Dancing Sky, Saskatchewan'S Professional Rural Theatre, Has Been Producing Shows In Meacham Since 1997 And Is Committed To Telling Your Saskatchewan Stories.Angus Ferguson Co-Founded Dancing Sky Theatre With His Artist Wife Louisa In 1993. Under Angus' Artistic Leadership, The Theatre Has Created 42 Productions. All Of These Have Been Canadian, 29 Have Been World Premiers Of Which 13 Have Been Collective Creations, And 10 Have Toured To Other Places.

Founded in 1974, Persephone Theatre has become one of the largest theatres in Canada, and the largest in Saskatchewan. Founded by Janet and Susan Wright, and Brian Richmond (the theatre's first artistic director), Persephone Theatre has a long, rich history of supporting the arts in Saskatoon.

Founded in 1985, La Troupe du Jour is the only professional French-language theatre company in Saskatchewan and for that reason plays an essential role in the Fransaskois cultural landscape. For 12 years, the company has maintained an artistic presence in Francophone communities across the province by touring shows, supporting playwriting and presenting programs in the schools.The company has been run by Artistic and General Director Denis Rouleau since 1989, accompanied since 2003 by Administrative Director Dany Rousseau. It has enjoyed financial stability and assembled a professional team of artists and administrators, presenting a solid program in keeping with its mandate of creation, production, presentation and artistic training. In this way, it has gradually expanded its professional program and today presents itself as the principal professional French-language theatre company in Saskatchewan and one of 13 active professional Francophone theatres outside Quebec.In its 25-year history, the company has produced more than 80 plays, half of which are original creations or adaptations of original works by authors from Saskatchewan.

Alan is an experienced Saskatchewan Artist who brings a wealth of experience and strong leadership to SNTC. Some of his favourite acting roles in recent years include: drums/Jerry Allison in Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story and drums/various characters in Fire, both at Persephone theatre. Alan has produced and toured his own work across Canada on the Fringe Festival circuit and has worked on many Saskatchewan productions as a stage manager and technical director. He was an important employee in the mentorship of youth at SNTC where he has taught acting and stage management workshops, directed plays and worked as production manager. He is excited to work with Curtis to usher in a new era for the company, built upon sharing their past successes at SNTC with youth.
