The Community Theatre Centre is connected to the White Pines Collegiate and Vocational School, 1007 Trunk Road in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The theatre is located on the south side of the building, with easy access for loading and unloading. The loading dock is on the far side of the theatre. The actual door size on the loading dock is 10 feet by 10 feet.

The Théâtre du Tandem result of the merger of Theatre Blowing Rouyn-Noranda and Theatre Creek Ville-Marie. The instant success of the collaboration between the two companies, the need to strengthen the production of professional theater in the region, the need to come together in a context of scarce resources has led both companies to consider their merger. The birth of Tandem Theatre was therefore an accomplishment 21 March 1997. Le Théâtre du Tandem now has 15 years of active presence in the world of theater, regardless of years of production of the two founding companies. It produces regular season and in the summer, and tours shows consistently in Rouyn-Noranda and Ville-Marie, regularly throughout the region of Abitibi-Témiscamingue and, on occasion, tour outside the region.
