We have been operating as Daydreams & Sunbeams Child Care Centre since 2006; prior to that we actually had a play home of the same name since 2001. We have continually listened to our clients to provide the quality consistent service that we are offer. We provide Infant care all the way to School Age care including Transportation to three Schools. We are Licensed and have been Accredited since 2008 as well as won the Green Award in High River for Eco Awareness and Strategies. We continually adapt our programs to keep up with the demands of Childcare and the Profession, our staff continually upgrade with Workshops and Conferences, and follow the New Alberta Curriculum Framework; which recognizes all children as Mighty Learners and Educators as Co-Learners.

Our preschool is a learning centre for children ages 3 to 5 years old. The main idea is to learn through play for the 3 year olds and the 4 and 5 year old children will learn in a small kindergarten-like setting. While keeping learning activities fun, interactive, interesting and hands-on, we will integrate language arts, math, science, personal and social responsibility, creative expression, music and art in our teaching lessons, themes and centres. We will do this through the use of interaction, storybooks, manipulatives, songs, movement, puppets, crafts and science experiments. Aside from years of experience, our teachers either hold a Bachelor of Education Degree and/or a Child Development Supervisor Certificate and are fully qualified to teach your children. Qualified teacher assistants will also work in the class to assist with instruction and classroom management.
