Creative Learning truly is "your neighborhood toy store". Established in 1988 in downtown North Bay, Ontario Canada, our 3500 square foot toy / teacher store features educational toys, games and award winning children's books. We also have an impressive selection of curriculum based resources for school and home use. Throughout our store, there are interactive play centers for customers to try out the toys, or as one parent recently joked, "so the parents can play and the kids can shop". In January 2002 we were chosen as Toy Retailer of the Year by Toys and Games Magazine. A national award .This prestigious honour was preceded by the Small Business of the Year Award in December 1999 as selected by the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce.

At Gulliver's Quality Books & Toys in North Bay, we have toys and games that are often not found in northern Ontario. We also have a variety of local authors, both self-published and published.
A wide selection of childrens books are available in French (we understand that we may be the only people with a good selection in this category). We also carry a host of puzzles and games that you would not find in WalMart/Target, and cards that are done by local artists.
If it is in print we will special order a book for you as well. We go out of our way to offer good service in this regard this also extends to games and such, if you think it might be there we will try to find it for you, if we do not have it in stock.
We are going to also be trying new lines and products over the next year.
Gulliver's Quality Books & Toys also does readings and book signing by local authors.
