When Toronto-based 'foodie' couple Jeff Kirker & Karrie Galvin make a change - they go all the way. A few years ago, chef/food stylist Galvin & businessman Kirker sold their downtown Toronto home and relocated to Lakefield, Ontario to fulfill their lifelong dream & return to Chef Galvin's roots (she was raised 10 minutes away in Bridgenorth, ON). The couple purchased a rambling, three-storey house from the early 1900's to restore (with their own two hands!) and turn into their home and restaurant.

Roseglen Village is a quality retirement living facility that was once Port Hope's hospital.This 1964 building was transformed into Independent Living apartment on the lower level with appliances and personal parking spaces.For those who prefer to have someone else cook and clean,Roseglen Village also offers assisted living in individual suites,some opening into an interior courtyard or other rooms with views of historic trinity college school.An elegant dining room,private lounges,large patio,atrium and theatre room are available to all residents. The Doble's are proud of their non-institutionalized style of management and greet residents on a daily first-name basis.
