Passing through today with my wife and daughter, hungry so we stopped in. Service was prompt, and actually involved 3 people! I had the pickerel platter (had to prevent myself from saying "It's actually called walleye!"), wife had poutine, and daughter had the soup of the day, hamburger vegetable, and chicken burger. All agreed that it was good. Decor was interesting, and washrooms were very clean. Jake's is currently up for sale; it will be interesting to see what happens here, as the place seems to be a bit of an institution, having been run by the same ownership since 1969.

The West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation was established on July 13th, 1995 and incorporated on August 4th, 1995 in the town of Sturgeon Falls, District of West Nipissing. The Foundation was initially created to help fundraise for the purchasing of a Mammography Unit.
