We are an inclusive, non-dogmatic, and progressive Christian church. We worship and practice an open-hearted, open-minded faith that takes Scripture and the message of Jesus seriously, but not literally. We practice Evolutionary Christian Spirituality which believes in 'Christ Consciousness' which understands that evolution can be brought about by the application of spiritual knowledge to the conduct of human life, and of the refinement of the mind brought about by spiritual practices. Our tradition shows Jesus to be the vessel of this consciousness and to take action for social justice and inclusion in this world, rather than to 'hold out' for a peaceful world in an afterlife.
