Located in a former jail built in 1842, visitors will find exhibits in the basement museum revealing the jail's history and the role of DNA in solving crimes. Science East's hands-on exhibits are designed to inspire wonder and creative thinking in people of all ages. During the summer months, experience daily science shows at 11am and 2pm and explore Atlantic Canada only outdoor science playground. Group rates are available for schools and community groups. Open throughout the year, 7 days/week. Services and programs are available in both French and English.

The museum is a 1900’s train shed replica. An exhibit that changes every year and relates the life of railway-men.
A 900 square feet HO 1/87 scale lay-out that is constantly changing. You see a great deal of different modeling aspect like cars, structures, engines, scenery and many scale kilometers of tracks. The visit will bring you in the past with different replicas and 230 feet of boardwalk that will lead you to a covered railroad bridge and to the resting area, the hall of fame. Then, welcome aboard for a tour of New-Brunswick in miniature, a magnificent journey through the modeler’s eyes. At the end of your visit the “Jefstyle souvenir and hobby shop” will allow you to get souvenirs. The Brake’s-man trail will guide you back to your departure "parking area".
