Photo Central has been serving Winnipeg's photographers since 1975, when Dick Toews took over management of what was then Independent Photo Centre. In 1991 the name was changed to Photo Central Inc when Dick took over full ownership. Photo Central continued to grow and adapt over the years, and has seen the introduction and explosion of digital products and the rapid change it has made in the industry in the last decade. Photo Central was purchased by Dick's son, Andrew, in the spring of 2008. Andrew has since made the necessary changes to ensure that Photo Central is equipped to function and flourish in a rapidly changing marketplace without sacrificing who we are or what we think a business should be. What has always set Photo Central apart from its competition is its commitment to service and customer satisfaction. UFCW Local 832 was founded in 1938, and it had grown to about 700 members by 1964 when Bernard Christophe was elected president. By the time he stepped down as president in September 2002, the membership of the Local had grown to over 15,000. Lori Pisclevich graduated in 2001 from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy.As a Physiotherapist Lori has over 17 years experience working in an active, private practise Physiotherapy clinic. Lori's areas of expertise are in Orthopedic and sports injuries.Lori has completed post graduate courses in the Advanced Orthopedic level system through the National Orthopedic Division. She has completed courses in Sports First Responder, prevention of running injuries, Myofascial release, acute athletic injury management, and is certified to do Acupuncture.Lori has over 10 years experience working and volunteering at various sporting events in Manitoba. These sporting events include: Head trainer at the St. Vital Mustangs Football Club, the Manitoba Marathon, Western Canadian Hockey and ringette championships, track and field, figure skating, and MHSAA volleyball championships.
