MTS IceplexOpened in August 2010, the MTS Iceplex is a 177,000 square foot multipurpose, state-of-the-art facility that is open year round. It consists of four rinks, each with NHL regulation size ice surfaces (200' x 85'). In addition, the facility boasts a dedicated Goalie training centre (45' x 37'), 22 player dressing rooms, high performance fitness and training facilities, a full service pro shop, licensed restaurant and lounge, concession and vending facilities as well as conference facilities.The MTS Iceplex provides between 11,000 and 13,000 hours of ice annually which serves the minor hockey community, adult recreation leagues, tournaments, summer camps and casual rentals.MTS Iceplex has been recognized as a Hockey Canada Centre of Excellence and was one of three venues that hosted the 2011 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge, a major international hockey tournament held by Hockey Canada each year.MTS Iceplex is home to the following tenant teams:Winnipeg JetsMTS Iceplex serves as the official practice and training facility of the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club.

The primary objective is to provide each child with an environment of trust, security, safety and happiness.About UsWestwood Community Child Care Inc. (WCCC) is a non-profit child care centre licensed through Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care. WCCC is licensed for 50 children; 40 school age (Grades 1 - 6) and 10 preschool (Kindergarten). Our license is renewed annually with the Government of Manitoba.The centre was founded in September of 1982 and is governed by a Board of Directors. Each year, an Annual General Meeting is held to elect a Board of Directors from the membership. Each parent with a child attending is considered a member. All parents are encouraged to attend this Annual General Meeting and volunteer as a Board Member.
