The Saskatoon Zoo Society is a non-profit environmental education organization that exists to provide educational opportunities based around the wildlife at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo.Each year we conduct over 400 environmental education programs to schools and interest groups in Saskatoon and surrounding area. We are funded by cost recovery on our programs, grants, and donations, our membership programs, funds raised by Paws Inn Concession and Gift Shop, and our Adopt-a-Critter Program.
Our Outreach Programs run between October and April each year. In these exciting programs, Zoo Society teachers or interpreters visit your classroom with a live animal from the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo or biological artifacts (biofacts) from our collection.Adopt-a-CritterEveryone is welcome to symbolically adopt- a- critter.
