Like the famous Bluenose schooner, Al hails from Nova Scotia where his uncle has operated the largest used car dealership in Atlantic Canada for the past 40 years. With a background in agricultural science, wildlife studies and habitat mapping, Bea's introduction to the world of retail came when she and Al made a joint decision to open Bluenose Motor Co. Ltd. The View Gallery is a contemporary art gallery on the Nanaimo campus of Vancouver Island University, which presents all types of visual arts and designs made by students, community-members, and professional artists.
